Ken Finegan, ARPS, BA (Hons), MFA,

Ken is a professional photographer for over 26 years based in the North East of Ireland covering all aspects of photography including Press / PR / Commercial / Sport / Product Shots & Architecture and was awarded a 1st in his BA (Hons) Photography Degree at the West Wales School of the Arts, University of Glamorgan. Five images from Ken's exhibition “Tír na nÓg” held in the Basement Gallery, Dundalk in July 2010 were selected for “Open Here” at the Hereford Photography Festival held in November 2010. He has also just completed a Master of Fine Art (MFA) in Photography at the University of Ulster, York Street Belfast under professors and renowned photographers Paul Seawright and Donovan Wylie, Prof. Terence Wright and Dr. Alastair Herron.

Images from Ken's MFA project “Club Life” were published in the “Creating Excellence in Dementia Care, A Research Review for Ireland's National Dementia Strategy” January 2012 by Associate Professor Suzanne Cahill, Trinity College, Professor Eamonn O'Shea, NUI Galway and Maria Pierce, Trinity College, Dublin.
